To begin this journey, i thought it would be appropriate to start with something that denotes something we feel very passionately about - Ethics. It wasn't always our strong point. Given the Indian business scenario, a lot of companies, including our blamed our lack of principles on external elements. But through 25 years we have realized, unethical practices take you closer to your short term goals, but for truly fulfilling your long term goals - the goals for which your company exists, ethical practices and a culture of ethics in your management and entire company is a must. It is very difficult to convince many managers of this practice, especially when rampant unethical practices are all around you, gaining their doers short term tangible gains. But once you lay down a policy, a value, a principle, which come what may, is not to be broken or bent, it becomes a culture.
